Notes on resturants in Japan

There appears to be food outlets everywhere in the cities. Sushi is common obviously and there are other specialist types with Chinese being common as well. The other types seem to be a mixture of styles from round the world but produced cheaply. Pasta, curry, fried chicken, burgers etc. They like to have picture of the food served outside so you can see what they have and some places go in for plastic models of the dishes in a display cabinet. These arent at all realistic and look really unappetising, one memorable representation of a beef curry looking like a plate of sick complete with diced carrots and peas.


STOP PRESS - we now have the winner of the most biziarre plate of food. Check out the picture on the right. Is it an Alien? or some weird creature or Maybe a prop from a Two Ronnies sketch on rude food. Schmal Eshroom anyone?
